Artificial Intelligence (AI)  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the combination of algorithms proposed with the purpose of creating machines that have the same capabilities as humans. A technology that is still distant and mysterious to us, but that for a few years has been present in our daily lives at all hours.  TYPES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE      Computer science experts Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig differentiate several types of artificial intelligence:  # Systems that think like humans They automate activities such as decision making, problem solving, and learning. An example is artificial neural networks. # Systems that act like humans These are computers that perform tasks in a similar way to how people do. It is the case of robots.  # Systems that think rationally Try to emulate the rational logical thinking of humans, that is, investigate how to make machines perceive, reason and act accordingly. Systems experts fall into this group. # Sys...

Types of software Types of software by functionality  The types of software that exist can be classified into three large groups according to the functions they enable. In this way, we talk about application software (within which we find, in turn, management software), programming software and system software. App Software      Within this type of software we can find different tools that include calculation bases, business or design programs. Its scope is very broad and includes office automation and text editors, programs that allow various functions focused on the recreational or work environment. Another example of this is business programs specific to different sectors, such as types of software for hotels. Management Software      The different types of management software would be included within the so-called application software, as tools that facilitate all aspects related to the integral management of the company: from accounting or billin...

Robotics      Robotics is the branch of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science, which deals with the design, construction, operation, structure, manufacture, and application of robots.12 Robotics combines various disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence, control engineering and physics.3 Other important areas in robotics are algebra, programmable automata, animatronics and state machines, and is also used as a teaching aid.4 The term robot was popularized with the success of the work R.U.R. (Universal Robots Rossum), written by Karel Čapek in 1920. In the English translation of that work, the Czech word robota, which means forced labor or worker, was translated into English as robot.5 Advances in robotics have shown that there are robotic devices that can move and interact with their environment based on the enormous availability of precise sensors and high-performance motors, and the development...

Cybersecurity      Cybersecurity is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attack. It is also known as information technology security or electronic information security. The term is applied in different contexts, from business to mobile computing, and can be divided into some common categories. Network security is the practice of protecting a computer  network from intruders, whether they are targeted  attackers or opportunistic malware.      Application security focuses on keeping software and devices free from thgeats. An affected application could provide access to the data it is intended to protect. Effective security begins at the design stage, long before a program or device is deployed. Information security protects the integrity and privacy of data, both in storage and in transit.
